I’ve spent my life in education—coaching, teaching, mentoring—and one thing has always been clear: our students are full of potential. But potential isn’t enough. In today’s world, students need more than just textbooks and test scores to succeed. They need confidence. They need connection. They need real-world skills.

That’s why I created the Student Entrepreneur Academy (SEA).

This isn’t just another program about business plans or branding. It’s about giving young people a chance to see who they really are and what they’re capable of—before the world tells them what they can’t do.

I’ve worked with hundreds of students who came into SEA unsure of their voice, their ideas, or how they fit into the world. And I’ve watched those same students pitch businesses to rooms full of professionals, shake hands with CEOs, and leave with job offers, mentorships, and more clarity than some adults have in midlife.

Because SEA isn’t just about entrepreneurship—it’s about transformation.

When students go through the program, they learn how to present themselves with confidence. They create a resume and LinkedIn profile that actually say something. They practice networking—not in a fake, elevator-pitch kind of way, but in a real, human-to-human kind of way. They get to solve real problems, present in front of live audiences, and connect with successful entrepreneurs through our partnership with NRG. That kind of access? It changes everything.

The skills they gain—communication, resilience, leadership, financial literacy, critical thinking—are the kind of skills that make you stand out in college interviews, job searches, and life in general. These are the same tools I wish I had when I was 17 and wondering what came next.

But more than any skill, SEA gives students belief. Belief in their ability to lead. Belief that their ideas matter. Belief that they can take an idea, shape it, and turn it into something real.

And that belief? That’s where the future begins.

When a student leaves SEA, they walk out with more than a certificate. They walk out with a plan, a network, and the kind of self-awareness that changes the trajectory of their life. They know how to pitch themselves and their ideas. They understand how to build something from scratch. They’re no longer waiting for permission—they’re stepping into the world with intention.

So if you’re a student—or the parent of one—wondering what the next step looks like… I invite you to take a closer look at SEA. This could be the beginning of something incredible.

Because once a student realizes they have the power to create, connect, and lead?

There’s no stopping them.
